Our dinner at Le Jardin Du Russie in Rome was exceptional due in part to the skill, knowledge and service of Claudio, a bombastic sommelier and server.

Claudio exudes calm professionalism, a mastery of wines and a kind heart that he shares through his warm smile and a look in his eyes that says he knows exactly which wine to recommend to compliment your meal and tantalize your taste buds. His knowledge of wines was extensive and discussing them with him helped to make our evening bombastic.

When Claude got to an area he was not well versed in (sweet wines) he did not hesitate to bring in his counterpart Alessia whose recommendations as well as her personality and charm were perfect and simply added to the bombastic time we were having.

If you have the opportunity to dine at Le Jardin Du Russie, be sure to ask for Claudio or Alessia, they will make your evening a night to remember.
