We spent two nights here and will always remember the diversity Johannesburg has too offer just minutes from the hotel. We hired a car and driver for a day and toured the market in Johannesburg, Soweto, the Apartheid museum, a gold mine at Sun City, a drive through downtown as well as a tour of the surrounding suburbs. It was amazing to see the extremes between the haves and the have nots.

The rooms are done in soft colors and gentle floral prints giving it a feel of a guest house at a country estate but don't worry you are well connected to the outside world with telephones throughout your suite, satellite TV as well as the all important Internet connection. They have seamlessly merged old country and 21st century in to one.

The Westcliff is the place to be if you are exploring Johannesburg or just want to kick back and relax at one of their two pools. Either way, you will be in comfort and style without a single concern.
