LAST CHANCE TO BOOK NEW YEAR BREAK

December 08, 2010 | 0 images

The fires are roaring, the Christmas tree looks stunning and the en-suite bedrooms are welcoming – just some of the delights waiting for you at Broadoaks Country House Hotel in the Lake District. There are just four rooms left to fill over the New Year weekend and they have knocked 15% off the 3-day package.

With rates from only £428 (less 15%) per person for the 3 night package which includes meals, accommodation and entertainment, you can choose the romantic Pine bedroom or the de-luxe Oak, Spruce or Walnut rooms.

The three night package makes for the ultimate New Year celebration. It’s not all party though there is plenty of time to relax, enjoy the Lake District and experience hospitality at its best. Relax and unwind in our fire lit public areas over this Festive period. You know you deserve it. Details of the new year break are as follows:

Arrival – Thursday 30th December 2010
Arrive to a warm welcome where the festivities will begin from the moment you walk through the door. Afternoon Tea will be served on arrival or once you have had time to settle into your room.

Our Welcome dinner experience will begin with a champagne and canapé reception at 7pm in our Music room where you will have the chance preview the menu and enjoy a little pre dinner drink. Guests will be taken through to our Oaks restaurant from 7.30pm where you will experience a 4 course gourmet meal with your partner or other members of your party.

After dinner, relax in the Music room with Tea or coffee (or something a little stronger if you wish!). Choose from our wide selection of Speciality Teas, for an additional charge we have a host of liqueurs and liquor coffees to select from.

New Years Eve – Friday 31st December 2010
Breakfast is served in the restaurant both Continental and full English Options are available of course. Enjoy the rest of the morning at your own leisure – maybe take a stroll around the grounds or play one of our boar games in the Music room over morning coffee.
A light lunch of soup and sandwiches is served in our Music Room and Bar between 12 and 2pm for any guests that are in the hotel.

At 7pm, guests will gather in our Music room for a champagne and canapé reception where wine and meal choices will be finalised for your table. We will be offering a Wine pairing menu (for an extra charge) which has been specifically designed to match with the foods on our 6 course New Year Gala Menu. Guests can eat in couples on this night or if you prefer you are welcome to join other guests on a larger table.
After Dinner, the celebrations will start with our in House Singer / Guitarist who will play the night away with classics that are sure to get your feet tapping. Just before the bells, every guest will be given a glass of champagne to bring in the new year and fireworks will signal the start of 2011.
Feeling a little peckish, shortly after the fireworks we will serve a traditional Hogmanay supper of Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, don't worry a vegetarian alternative will be made available for any that don't like the thought of Haggis.
Dancing will finish at around 1pm and the bar will close at this time also.

New Year's Day - Saturday 1st January 2011
After breakfast, start your day with a New Year's Day cruise on the lake (tickets provided), make your choice which cruise to take leaving from either Bowness or Ambleside. The views of the surrounding snow covered mountains truly are a fantastic sight!

Go out in style – on our last night our kitchen team have created a spectacular Gala Buffet. Enjoy the meal with other guests that you have met during your stay or if you prefer individually with your partner.
