British Airways’ prestigious business class-only service between London City and New York has launched a new premium arrivals service for transatlantic travellers landing in London.

The airline has partnered with the four star deluxe Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel to provide customers with a high-class service so they can freshen up for the day ahead.

Florian Binder, British Airways’ product and service development manager, said: “Our Club World London City flights offer the ultimate in convenience for business travellers, with 15-minute check-in to departure for those with hand luggage at London City Airport, as well as text and email connectivity in-flight.

“Our new arrivals service, in partnership with the Radisson Edwardian, means business travellers will have the added benefit of being able to relax and freshen up in the hotel’s spa, make use of the state-of-the-art gym and enjoy breakfast before heading into work, or to meetings, at nearby Canary Wharf or the City.”

Judith West, partnerships manager of Radisson Edwardian, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with British Airways, ensuring Club World London City customers arriving at London City Airport have a great experience to start their day“

Customers flying to London from New York on the Club World London City service can prebook the new service at JFK Airport, either at check-in, the Galleries Club lounge or at the boarding gate before departure.

Upon arrival in London they’ll be escorted to a chauffeur-driven executive car and taken to the Radisson Edwardian’s New Providence Wharf Hotel. The journey should take no more than ten minutes.

At the hotel customers will be directed to the East River Spa to take advantage of private treatment rooms with complimentary toiletries and access to the gym and relaxation rooms.

Customers who want to maximise their sleep onboard can chose from a complimentary breakfast in the Azura Restaurant or on the riverside terrace, as well as make use of the hotels’ business centre with free Wifi.

British Airways Club World customers can also enjoy preferential rates to stay at The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf. Choose from deluxe, river view, or suites with rates from £245 excluding breakfast and VAT. Early check in available on request, subject to availability.
