5 Star Service at Songbirds

Tucked away in the Tamborine rain forest on Tamborine Mountain in Queensland sits Songbirds Rainforest Retreat and its award winning Songbirds in the Forest Restaurant. (Queensland's restaurant of the year, 2006).

This is where we came to meet Haley Van Ravenswaay. We were lucky enough to have Haley as our server on our first visit to Songbirds. Haley took our great experience and made it bombastic.

It's hard to put my finger on exactly what it was about Haley. Was it her charm, her experience and knowledge, or her heartfelt, welcoming spirit? Regardless, Haley made our dining experience a delight.

Hayley's recommendations on both food and wine were outstanding and her knowledge of the menu, the restaurant and the surrounding area all just added to the experience

Hayley's service was impeccable. Her timing of when to stop and chat a bit and when to just flow in and out without interruption was perfect.

Even though she's young, you can tell from her spirit and in her warmth that this is a job she truly loves and you would think as though she has been doing this for years and years.
