Four Seasons Hotel - Amman, Jordan - As you would expect at any Four Seasons Hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel - Amman's lobby was spacious and decked out in fresh flowers. As the norm for Four Seasons, reception was fast and efficient yet it lacked the warmth felt at some of the other Four Seasons Hotels I have visited in the past.

I was disappointed in both the size and decor of our room. It was plain, out dated, boring and dull. The view was nothing special, simply a not so picturesque view of Amman. I would have much rather been over-looking the pool.

Room service was not up to "Four Seasons" standard either; slow service and bland food, was this really a five star hotel?

My biggest disappointment of my stay was the breakfast buffet. I have not seen one so uninviting or with such a small array of choices. The breakfast buffet was about as far from bombastic as I've ever seen.

The spa, health club and two pools (one in-door and one out-door) helped keep the Four Seasons - Amman from being a total disaster.

Would I go back to the Four Seasons again? I doubt it. I've tried the Kempinski Hotel - Amman and their rooms there are beautiful but the service was lacking there too, so I'd probably try one of the other hotels in Amman. I am sure there must be at least one that rises to the level of bombastic.
