Noi Thai Restaurant – Prague, The Czech Republic: If you’re craving for Thai food in Prague, one of your best bets choices is the Noi Thai Restaurant which serves traditional and sumptuous Thai dishes and is located in a fashionable old building with high rounded ceilings. They have decent prices and a laid-back atmosphere, designed around Zen interiors and Eastern sensibilities. The lighting is sensual and the furniture relaxed and cozy, with huge leather chairs, eclectic lamps and low tables for lounging comfortably. Some of the tables, however, were placed too close together and made the room feel a little cluttered, defeating their Zen motif. In addition, the acoustics of the place was not well thought-of as the noise level was too loud. There was much more they could have done to make the place look classier, but nonetheless, it was still nice.

The food is god enough to satisfy the craving of any Thai food enthusiast, but it is not the best Thai food you’ll have in your life, needless to say. Most of their ingredients were fresh but their noodles were a bit overcooked. The service had a lot of room for improvement, however, based on what I’ve experienced in Prague, it was relatively good.

Their wine list was surprisingly extensive, with available wines from all regions. We had a Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, from the Marlborough in New Zealand

Overall the experience was good. If you like Thai food and a fairly trendy atmosphere this place will fill your needs.

Is it Bombastic? No, but for good Thai food in a casual atmosphere, it’s more than acceptable.

What I liked: The traditional, Thai food

What I didn’t like: It was way too loud.

Rating: Between Bombastic and Not
