Le Cinq - Paris, France: The most romantic city in the world is also home to one of the most fantastic restaurants I've ever been to. Located at the Four Seasons George V, the Le Cinq in Paris, France is constantly regarded as one of the top dining establishments in the world. This Michelin star-rated restaurant is a must-dine for tourists to the City of Lights and locals as well.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was certainly busy serving a huge dinner crowd. Once we were seated, we were given the day's starter, which was a Cream of Sea Urchin soup. It was uniquely divine, possessing an unusual consistency that reminded me of foam. I have never had anything like it! After that, I ordered an enticing chilled cauliflower soup while my companion had a lentil soup. Both were delicious and were an ideal match to our scallops appetizer.

For our main course at Le Cinq, we had a gorgeous shank of lamb that was seared to perfection. The herbs and sidings were the ideal companions of our main course, and I would have to say that this was the dish nonpareil of the evening.

The restaurants sommelier did a fine job of pairing us with an excellent red wine from their extensive wine list that enhanced our dining experience. He also recommended us a top port for our course of cheese and a terrific sweet wine for dessert. To top off our glowing recommendation, he suggested the perfect cognac to go with our after-dinner coffee.

The excellent food and classy atmosphere combined with a stylishly knowledgeable sommelier make the Le Cinq a Fantastic Bombastic restaurant in true Four Seasons panache. It really is one of the best restaurants in Paris.
