The Barroom – Munich, Germany: Perhaps Munich’s smallest bar, The Barroom is definitely the best in terms of customer satisfaction per square meter. Aside from sampling some of the best cocktails in town, experiencing this quaint, unique bar is reason enough to visit.

Imagine the corner of your favorite European bar—just a few booths, a couple stools, a jovial bartender/owner, and an extensive wine and beer selection, and what you end up with is The Barroom. With enough room for just a dozen or so people, The Barroom has the character, the style and the class that would put any of the larger bars in Munich to shame.

As you can imagine it would be in such a tiny place, service was very personal and customer-oriented. Since the owner himself was the one behind the bar, he went to each table to chat with guests when he had the time. We felt like we had been at this bar a million times before and had known him for years. It was an amazing little place.

This place is a must-visit! With such limited seating, however, I would contact The Barroom ahead of time and see when would be the best time to visit them. Bombastic.

What I liked: The atmosphere, there is nothing like it

What I didn’t like: Located a bit to far from the center of Munich.
