Arys Warung - Ubud, Bali: Located just a short distance from the Four Seasons Sayan in Ubud, is Arys Warung, a chic and trendy, fine dining restaurant and bar that is perfect for having a leisurely cocktail or a quiet dinner.

The location is ideal for watching the locals as they go about their day and there is a good chance you will catch a ceremonial procession, as there are many historical temples in the area.

I stopped in one evening for drink prior to dinner and truly enjoyed the open-air atmosphere and the views of the Ubud residents as they passed by.

On the second floor is the open-air terrace dining room. I did not have the opportunity to dine there, but their menu was extensive, centering on Asian cuisine. In addition to their varied entrees, they had a six-course tasting menu that would be a must if I go back.

Service in the lounge was slow to the point of being irritating and the selection of wine was a bit limited too.

The question I ask myself is would I go back to Arys Warung again and I think I would. The atmosphere and dinner menu were just to inviting.
