Milk Restaurant – Kuwait: Milk is another addition to Kuwait’s restaurant breakfast scene. Located opposite the Al Seif palace on the Seef Strip on Gulf Road, this restaurant is open from 9 AM till 11 PM, and serves breakfast all day. Slider Station , Cocoa Room and Prime and Toast are all located on the same strip.

Milk Restaurant is a super trendy place with a gorgeous decor. The modern interior is done up in shades of white, black and light gray. Though small (like all the other restaurants in this area), indoor and outdoor seating is available. If parking proves to be an issue, valet parking is available.

We were at Milk for breakfast. The menu offered a limited, yet nice selection of breakfast dishes such as omelets, scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, crepes, hot drinks, desserts and frozen yoghurt. This restaurant offers the same menu throughout the day. However, we were told they will be adding some new items to the menu in the coming weeks.

We ordered the Blueberry Pancakes and a Denver Omelet. The pancakes were made with REAL blueberries. Agreed, they were frozen or freeze dried, but nonetheless they were real. I had doubts about how good they might turn out to be, but surprisingly they were delicious. However, the Denver omelet made of bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and turkey bacon was just average. There was nothing wrong with this omelet per se, it was just a little dull and didn’t have any special taste. Same goes for my cheese and mushroom omelet.

Service at Milk Restaurant was fine. But we were the only people there at 10AM while the other breakfast restaurants like Prime and Toast and Cocoa Room were quite crowded. I also sampled the restaurants frozen cherry yogurt and it was simply divine. I was informed that the flavors of the frozen yoghurt are changed every two days.

Overall, Milk is a cozy and comfortable restaurant that serves some nice food at reasonable prices. I might go back to Milk just to have some more of that heavenly frozen yogurt. Our rating for Milk Restaurant is Almost Bombastic.
