Solo Pizza Napulitana is the first certified authentic Neapolitan pizzeria in Kuwait. This Kuwaiti owned pizza joint is located in an old building behind in Tatami Japanese restaurant in Sharq. This restaurant is open daily from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm.

Solo Pizza offers both outdoor and indoor seating; about 20 diners inside and about 12 or so diners outside. The interior was brightly lit and very cozy. The place was buzzing with activity but I could still here soft Italian music playing in the background.

The menu at Solo Pizza was quite small, with just pizzas, salads and a couple of desserts. Without further ado, we ordered a salad and a Margherita pizza. To our astonishment, the pizza arrived in just 2 minutes. When I inquired about this, we were told that each pizza is cooked for just 60 seconds in the wood fired pizza oven at a high temperature. The pizza oven at this restaurant has been brought straight from Italy. The salad was fresh and tasted great. However, the star of the evening was definitely the pizza. All the elements of the pizza were just perfect, right from the crust to the bubbling cheese. Simply delicious! This was by far the best pizza we had tasted in all of Kuwait.

Service at Solo Pizza was friendly. Also, the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, Solo Pizza serves pizzas that are very similar to the authentic Napoli pizzas that we have had in Napoli. This is a place you would go for some great pizza and not for the décor. This restaurant easily serves the best pizza in Kuwait. Bombastic!
