Mosquito Blue has a beautiful tropical chic décor with both indoor and outdoor dining options. The outdoor dining space is tailor made for people watching as the tables are arranged right on the main pedestrian mall.

We had made reservations in advance. Hence we were immediately shown to our tables. The menu was handed out as soon as we had settled in. The menu was extensive and had a nice selection of Italian dishes. A full bar was present with a massive wine menu featuring imported Italian wines.

We ordered Tuna Sashimi, handmade Tagliatelle with shrimp, zucchini and chile chipotle and a specially made Italian style Baked Fish.

After we sipped our super tasty margaritas we started with our appetizer of tuna sashimi; uber fresh and delicious.

Next up was the tagliatelle. It was super good, and like the tuna, it was obviously fresh and tasty at the same time. The Baked Fish came wrapped in tinfoil with seasonal vegetables; full of flavor, this dish immediately hit all the right notes. It was just as my partner had requested.

For dessert, the options included Tiramisu, Cheesecake, Apple Tart, Crème Brulee and Chocolate Cake with soft heart. We decided to try the Tiramisu since it was mentioned that it would be made at our table itself. It was a great experience watching the staff make the Tiramisu. When the time came to taste it, our opinion was unanimous. Simply put, it was scrumptious.

Service at Mosquito Blue was top notch. The manager took great care of us and it was a pleasure to watch his staff work in such smooth harmony with him. It was obvious that they were well trained and service was their top priority. We were also informed that the chef was from Italy, which from the taste of the food, I am sure he trained in some hot-spot in Italy.

Overall, Mosquito Blue offers a beautiful décor, attention to detail and superior quality of food. Our rating for this restaurant is Bombastic.
