Trendy and chic this hotel restaurant is 5 Star dining at its best. We were lucky enough to arrange for our dinner to be served in the privacy of our own room which just added to the beauty of the evening. Our own music playing in the background and a view overlooking the Barcelona streets below made for the perfect setting for what was to be a fantastic bombastic dinner.

To be able to experience the true range of their culinary skills the portions are served half portions and they recommend you try three or four different dishes. As the saying goes, "When in Rome..." so to start we ordered the Dublin Bay prawns with curry, roses and liquorice, Root vegetables with distilled soil, Razor clams, asparagus and basilic, (our least favorite of all the dishes), and Rice with peas and cuttlefish. To say the starters were fantastic (sans the asparagus) would be an understatement. The flavors, the textures, the aroma, all were intoxicating.

Our main dishes, still half size portions, were the Duck breast with beetroot and red orange, Odysseus' veal fillet and Tuna fish with red pepper sauce. Each one was succulent and tender, a delight for the mouth.

To complete this masterpiece of a dinner, Strawberries' tartar, fresh herbs and ewe's milk ice cream and Toffee parfait with raisin ice cream.

Even though we had the dinner served in our room, service as better than one could expect. Perfect service for a perfect dinner. It doesn't get much better than that.

It has been a very long time since we have had dinner this perfect. Moo Restaurant is far and above one of the best restaurants in all of Spain and rivals even our favorites from Rome, Florence and Paris.

If you are in Barcelona, even for one night, this is a place you absolutely must try.
