San Diego Luxury Hotel and Restaurant Reviews

San Diego, California is a modern city that retains a resort feel with its mild climate and 70 miles of beautiful sandy coastline. Home to the Pacific Fleet of the United States Navy, San Diego used to be defined by a culture of military retirees in khakis and plaid, and a heritage built around sailing. In the past years, however, San Diego has boomed into a world-class metropolis of skyscrapers, high-rise buildings, and commercial activities, but amazingly, without losing its Great Outdoors appeal.

San Diego is a place to relax and retreat from nearby Los Angeles. It is a favorite choice for family vacations, college kids and conventioneers. It’s countless luxury hotels and great restaurants are a major draw. While San Diego is not as seductive as San Francisco or as glamorous as Los Angeles, life here is sweet and pleasant, enough to make you forget your worries for a week or so.

During my time in San Diego, I was able to review some luxury hotels and a variety of restaurants. Check out my favorite places in San Diego, the JRDN Restaurant and the excellent boutique hotel, Tower 23 Hotel.
