It takes only a 20 minute train ride to reach Central London from this hotel. This four-storied contemporary hotel offers a whopping 605 non-smoking guestrooms in addition to a dedicated business center and 45 meeting rooms.

We stayed in Sofitel at London Heathrow during our 17 hour layover in London. We rented a Classic Room with a queen size bed for half a day. The room had a chic and trendy décor and was squeaky clean upon arrival. Though it was a bit small, our room was more than enough as a place to crash for half a day or even for a night or two. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable (probably since I had just flown 15 hours from Singapore to London and was dead tired). A high-definition television, complimentary wireless Internet access, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker and complimentary bottled water were also available. Though Wi-Fi was free, the signal was quite weak. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower and a good supply of amenities.

Sofitel at London Heathrow offers five dining options, Vivre, a live cookery restaurant ; La Belle Époque, a classic French restaurant; Tea 5 for afternoon teas, coffees, savories and pastries; Library Bar and Sphere Bar & Lounge. A health spa and a 24-hour gym were the other amenities available at this hotel.

Overall, Sofitel at London Heathrow offers immaculate accommodation and is perfect for a couple of days. For an airport hotel, you cannot get anything better than this. Our rating for Sofitel Hotel is Bombastic.
