From the airport, you can go straight to the Intercontinental Hotel O’Hare via shuttle bus – which you can also use to go back. The hotel itself is very chic and trendy. Ambience is classy all the way, and the surroundings are meticulously clean. The rooms are spacious with large en-suite bathrooms, however room service has an almost 10% sales tax. Combine that with a whopping 22% service charge and you’ll have to think twice about eating in. However, there are several in-house restaurants and bars to satiate your hunger. The Bistro Museo with its classic American fare, McCormick & Schmick with its fresh seafood and fine dining at the Capital Grille, all offer top-notch quality dining whenever you get the hankering. For those looking for a night cap, the Ice Bar will suit you fine, most especially with its unique Martini’s all served in actual ice glasses.

Despite the outrageous service charges, the Intercontinental Hotel O’Hare is one of the best, if not the best, hotel in the area and is perfect for overnight stays. It serves as an ideal place for formal airport meetings and will not disappoint even the most discerning customer. Overall, we give the hotel an Almost Bombastic rating.
