A popular spot for breakfast and brunch, Toast Bakery Cafe is located on the Third Street in Los Angeles. This eatery is always buzzing with diners. In fact, you are sure to find a crowd waiting outside to be seated here at all times.

A hip and trendy eatery, Toast Los Angeles has a nice and warm décor and offers both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. While the indoor space is appointed with plush couches, the outdoor patio offers some great people-watching on Third Street.

The breakfast at Toast Los Angeles is served day and night. The menu is quite lengthy and consists of American, Mexican and Middle Eastern dishes in addition to burgers, pizzas, wraps and sandwiches. A bakery case displays a number of yummy desserts.

We were here for breakfast. It took us time to decide our dishes as the menu was very long. Some of the dishes that sounded interesting were the Scramblettes, The Portobello and The Oscar. Our order was served in a timely manner. However, the food did not have any wow factor and was ok at best.

Overall, service at Toast was decent. But the food was nothing special. This restaurant is perfect for a quick breakfast in Los Angeles. However, I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a leisurely breakfast/brunch with some delicious dishes. Our rating for Toast is Almost Bombastic.

What I liked: The patio seating

What I didn’t like: The not so special food

Rating: Almost Bombastic
